On November 5th, the government was expected to submit a written rebuttal to the documents submitted by the appellant (plaintiff), but the government notified the court in advance that it would not submit a written rebuttal. Both sides have exhausted their arguments and evidence, so this is the final hearing before the ruling. Appellant Takami and his attorney will make a closing statement (speech) before the high court ruling.

Both sides will submit briefs outlining their arguments. If it is confirmed that the government has no plans to refute the briefs submitted by both sides, the trial is expected to conclude with the fourth hearing (the last hearing before the verdict is reached).
