アーカイブプロジェクト第2弾として、在外選挙権訴訟の訴訟記録を公開します。
この訴訟の最高裁判決まで、海外に住む日本人が選挙権を行使することは一部制限されていました。
現在、どこに住んでいても、全ての国政選挙に参加できるのは、長年にわたり活動を続けておられた原告とこれを支援した弁護団の尽力によるものです。
数少ない法令違憲のひとつとして、今なお重要な意義を有しています（この判決は、昨日違憲判決が下された在外国民審査訴訟でも重視されています。）。
訴訟資料は、弁護団から提供していただきました。
本ケースに対する寄付は、当時、訴訟を組織的に支援したJCLUに送付されます。

As the second archive project, we will publish the lawsuit records of the foreign voting rights case.
Until the Supreme Court decision in this case, Japanese citizen living abroad were restricted from exercising their voting rights.
At present, wherever you live, you can participate in all national elections because of the efforts of the plaintiffs who have been active for many years and the lawyers who supported them.
As one of the few legal unconstitutional rules, it still has significance (this decision is also emphasized in foreign national examination cases in which the unconstitutional ruling was issued yesterday).
The legal proceedings data was provided by the counsel team.
The donation for this case will then be sent to JCLU, who has systematically supported the case.
