終結レポート【「ジャーナリストに渡航の自由を！訴訟」公共訴訟が残したもの Vol.3】を公開しました。
2020年1月に提訴、CALL4に掲載された「ジャーナリストに渡航の自由を！訴訟」は、2025年9月、原告側の一部勝訴というかたちで幕を閉じました。
原告となったジャーナリスト・安田純平さんが一般旅券（パスポート）を発給拒否された問題、ひいては「移動の自由」という基本的人権をめぐる問題までを社会に問いかけた本訴訟。およそ5年8か月に及んだたたかいはどのようなものだったのか、社会に何を残したのかをレポートしました。

We have published the case closure report, “Freedom of Travel for Journalists!—The Legacy of Public Interest Litigation, Vol. 3”.
The “Freedom of Travel for Journalists!” lawsuit was filed and featured on CALL4 in January 2020. In September 2025, the case came to a close with a partial victory for the plaintiff.
The lawsuit raised important questions for society concerning the government’s refusal to issue journalist Jumpei Yasuda an ordinary passport—and, more broadly, the fundamental human right to freedom of movement. This report looks back on the legal battle, which lasted approximately five years and eight months, and examines the legacy it has left for society.
