新たなケースとして、「 神宮外苑を守ろう訴訟｜100年の歴史と3000本超の樹木を未来へ」が登録されました。
100年もの間、人々により守られ、親しまれてきた神宮外苑が今、破壊の危機に瀕しています。都民のみならず国民全ての貴重な歴史的遺産であり、自然遺産である神宮外苑を現在の状態のままで次世代へ繋いでいきたい。行政の恣意的な手続をただしたい。その思いで周辺住民らが、2023年2月に東京都に再開発の認可取り消しを、7月に新宿区に樹木伐採の認可取り消しを求める訴訟を提起しました。計画の正当性を司法に問います。
As a new case, "Protecting Jingu Gaien through Lawsuit | Preserve 100 Years of History and Over 3,000 Trees for the Future" has been posted.
Jingu Gaien, which has been preserved and cherished by people for over 100 years, is now on the brink of destruction. It is not only a precious historical heritage for the citizens of Tokyo but for all people, and it is a natural heritage as well. We want to pass down Jingu Gaien to the next generation in its current state. We want to challenge the arbitral procedures of the administration. With this intention, local residents initiated lawsuits in February 2023 to revoke the redevelopment approval from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and in July to revoke the tree-cutting approval from Shinjuku Ward. We are seeking judicial review of the legitimacy of the plan.
