Today, I submitted our preparatory documents and the opinion of my doctor.

The government submitted as evidence medical records from the time the lawsuit was filed until the plaintiff was transferred.

My doctor's opinion was that apart from prescribing PPIs, there was no need to impose any further dietary restrictions such as restricting my diet to porridge.

The next session will be on Thursday, February 5th at 1:30pm.

This time, we have requested the government to disclose the inspection records up until the plaintiff was transferred, and we are also collecting additional evidence.

Until next time, we intend to make additional claims based on these materials.

Today we submitted our document (Preparatory Document No. 3, Exhibit A).

Going forward, we will prepare a written opinion from Mr. A's doctor and then supplement our argument.

In addition, the court case submitted by the government this time (Exhibit B-C38 and Exhibit B-C39) is from a different case in which the quality of food in a correctional facility was an issue, but I found it very interesting.

In particular, Exhibit C38 is quite long, but we would appreciate it if you could take a look at it.

Today was the fourth preparatory hearing.

We also filed a legal brief today.

The document states that the provision of soft vegetable meals is not mandatory for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease,

Regarding the content of the soft vegetable diet, the report pointed out that the heavy use of soy protein, as seen in Osaka Detention House, is not seen in society or in other penal facilities.

The next hearing will be the date for the defendant (government) to make a rebuttal.

Today was the day to present our case, but due to preparation issues, we were only able to present our case regarding the facts.

We had planned to submit the documents at the end of November, but we were unable to complete the preparations in time, so we have decided to extend the deadline for submitting our documents. 

We are very sorry to those who have supported us. However, we feel that we need to request additional documents regarding the documents submitted by the government up until the previous deadline, and we are requesting that these be submitted as well. 

The government will handle the submission of those documents by the next hearing, and we will submit our documents based on the contents of those documents.
