100年もの間、人々により守られ親しまれてきた神宮外苑が今、破壊の危機に瀕しています。都民のみならず国民全ての貴重な歴史的遺産であり、緑豊かな憩いの場である神宮外苑を現在の状態のまま次世代へ繋いでいきたい。行政の恣意的な手続をただしたい。その思いで周辺住民らが、2023年2月に東京都に再開発認可取り消しを、7月に新宿区に樹木伐採認可取り消しを求める訴訟を提起しました。計画の正当性を司法に問います。 Jingu Gaien, a green oasis in the center of Tokyo that has been cherished for nearly a century, is now on the brink of being destroyed by a large-scale redevelopment scheme. The beautiful views we see today may soon disappear. But with your help, we can preserve this special place for future generations. Area residents went to court in February, seeking to revoke the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s approval for the redevelopment of the area and in July seeking to revoke Shinjuku Ward’s approval to cut down the trees. We ask the court to review and rule on the legitimacy of the entire plan.

神宮外苑の歴史的景観と環境の保全を求める声が高まる中「神宮外苑市街地再開発」は、昨年2月17日に小池東京都知事が施行認可を行いました。この事態を受け、地域住民を含む市民、各界専門家などが、東京都に対し認可取消の訴えを東京地方裁判所へ提出しました。その後、強い世論の反発があるにもかかわらず、多くの環境破壊や住民被害の問題を抱えたまま、非民主的な再開発は進んでいます。
その第3回口頭弁論が2月5日に行われます。
裁判はどなたでも傍聴できます。
また、記者会見ののち行う16:00からの報告集会（＠衆議院第１議員会館）もどなたでも参加することができます。

[Information on the 3rd Oral Argument and Report Meeting in the Jingu Gaien Lawsuit on February 5th] Amid growing calls for preservation of the historical landscape and environment of Jingu Gaien, the ``Jingu Gaien Urban Area Redevelopment'' was announced on February 17th last year. Tokyo Governor Koike gave the approval for implementation. In response to this situation, citizens including local residents and experts from various fields filed a lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court against the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to revoke the license. Since then, despite strong public opposition, undemocratic redevelopment has proceeded, with many problems of environmental destruction and harm to residents. The third oral argument will be held on February 5th. Anyone can attend the trial. Additionally, anyone can participate in the reporting session (@House of Representatives Building 1) that will be held from 16:00 after the press conference.
