首里城火災から2年が過ぎ、再建計画は進んでいますが、その一方で出火原因は不明とされ、また、だれ一人として管理責任を問われてもいません。これは火災の真実に迫るための住民訴訟です。 Two years have passed since the Shurijo Castle fire, and reconstruction plans are underway, but the cause of the fire is unknown, and no one has been held responsible for management.

11月6日、この裁判は結審します。
これに向け原告は最終弁論を提出、当日供述します。
おそらく、被告・補助参加人の最終弁論も提出されるでしょう。
原告最終弁論の趣旨は、
・出火原因の証明（整理）
・いくつかの争点への弁論
①ショートしたのにブレーカーが落ちていないことについて
②補助参加人が主張する主要動線への反論
③補助参加人が主張する延長コード設置者は補助参加人ではないという主張への反論
・補助参加人の管理責任立証（整理）
・沖縄県の損害の立証
The trial will conclude on November 6th.
In preparation for this, the plaintiff will submit closing arguments and testify on the day.
Closing arguments from the defendant and supporting intervenors will likely also be submitted.
The gist of the plaintiff's closing argument is as follows:
・Certification of the cause of the fire (organization)
・Arguments on several issues: 1) Regarding the fact that the breaker did not trip despite the short circuit; 2) Refuting the main traffic flow as claimed by the intervening party; 3) Refuting the claim by the intervening party that the person who installed the extension cord was not the intervening party; ・Proof of the intervening party's management responsibility (organization)
・Proof of damages to Okinawa Prefecture

職業は音楽家ですが、傍ら、沖縄の文化や社会問題を扱ったfacebookページ、季刊誌「命どう宝」を運営しており、首里城については火災以前から、所有権を沖縄に返すべきだと訴えるなどしていました。
この火災は、首里城から沖縄県民への大事なメッセージなのではないかと捉えていて、火災が問いかける意味と沖縄がどこに向かえばよいのかを考えるシンポジウムをこれまで３回開催するなどしてきました。
