長崎大学が計画し、国が支援するＢＳＬ４施設は、エボラウイルスのような致死的病原体を扱います。
しかし、住宅地から５０ｍしか離れていないため、住民はいつ感染するか、怯える毎日を送らなければなりません。
ウイルスに感染する恐怖から近隣住民を守るため、ＢＳＬ４施設の差止訴訟を提起しましたが、裁判中にＢＳＬ４施設としての指定がなされました。そこで、指定取り消し訴訟を提起します。
Nagasaki University, with support from the national government, has planned a BSL-4 facility to handle deadly pathogens such as the Ebola virus. However, since the facility is located only 50 meters from a residential area, local residents must live in constant fear of infection. To protect nearby residents from the risk of viral infection, we filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction against the operation of the BSL-4 facility. Yet, during the proceedings, the facility was officially designated as a BSL-4 laboratory. Therefore, we are now filing a lawsuit to seek cancellation of this designation.
